Dota Underlords Review, Gameplay, Pros / Cons and Video
is a new type of game. There is a lot to talk bout here so we should start with a couple of words about this game. And these words are chess, auto chess. But what those words have in common with Dota?
This game is an auto chess platform
you are playing and placing different figures ( heroes) on an 8x8 grid. There are different rounds and each round you are fighting another player. During the preparation phase, you are placing your heroes.
The battle phase
is the moment when things get real. Your heroes will fight the heroes of the enemy. The strategies and counter strategies are born on the fly. By seeing the figures of the enemy, you should make the proper adjustments for the next round
Each figure counts
If you have couple of same units, you will gain certain buffs. Each hero has abilities, and you should consider them too, not only the attack and hitpoints of the heroes.
of the figures has main role too. It is good to place the melee units in front and let the range units to attack from behind. Note that you can place the heroes anywhere on the chessboard.
The resource of the game is gold
You earn this gold after each round. The amount that you receive depends on the kills that you have made during the last battle phase. You can invest in upgrading your units or placing new on the board.
Who made this game?
This is a shock, but this game is made by Valve. It is a real surprise that they made a mobile game. And after Artifact, this is maybe the first mobile game from Valve. And I think that this game has some future. The games could be long or short – it all depends on you.
It is a nice and satisfying game and could be very fun. If you have the loot and you can place the right figure in the right places. If you don’t have good shop layouts you will be pretty frustrated. But in total, I think that you can give it a try and see for yourself. Google playApple store
